The college is located in rural and tribal area of Dhule district. Dahiwel is a market centre for the surrounding rural area. The college avails the facilities of higher education to the students of the area within their reach. There are more than 500 students on roll. The college is started in 1995. Since its inception it tries to fulfill the educational, cultural, social and sports aspirations of the students. The college, with its qualified staff, is dedicated to provide good education along with the life skills. The college is affiliated to Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The college is registered under UGC act 2f and 12b. The college is accredited with B grade (2.07 CGPA) in 2012 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore. The college provides education in the faculties of Arts and Science at undergraduate level.
